Board
Grace Farms offers pasture and stall board.
Pasture horses enjoy two large five acre pastures, where they can eat and play all day, and when life outside isn't what they desire, they have a large run in shed available to them. The run in shed is connected to the barn, so catching them is easy for the boarders (especially in the winter!). Pasture horses are individually fed grain twice a day, hay 4 times a day or pasture 24/7 and have free access to salt blocks. They also enjoy fresh water from their automatic waterer.
Stalled horses enjoy nine hours a day outside in large private or semi private paddocks made of Centaur Fencing. Each paddock has it's own automatic waterer. We have 15 stalls in the main (heated barn) and 7 new stalls in the old arena. They are fed quality grass hay four times a day and grain twice a day (three times if needed). Three top quality Purina grains are provided (Strategy, Ultium, Equine Senior, Ultium Growth, Omelene 200 and Enrich 32) along with occasional check ups from the Purina Nutritionists. Supplements provided by the owner are also fed. Each stall is equipped with it's own automatic waterer and salt block. Blanketing, fly masks, etc. are also provided at no charge.
Lessons
Lessons are offered in 45 minute private time slots. It is our belief that there are so many small details that need to be obtained in riding dressage and we want to provide as safe an environment as possible for new riders, which is why we offer private lessons.
For new or young riders we provide additional training on grooming, and tacking up at no additional charge.
We currently have 3 wonderful lesson horses that we can provide for lessons, Cody a Quarter Horse/Pony, Micah a Hanoverian, and Skip a Quarter Horse, Tucker a appendix, and Lexi a thoroughbred.
Trailering your horse in for a lesson is also available.
Training can be provided for any horse young or old.
Additional services are also offered: Coaching/showing at shows, trailering, grooming, clipping, mane pulling, and more.
In addition to regular lessons you could also enjoy the opportunity to lease a horse of your own! Just give us a call to see what horses are available for lease or half lease options.
During the summer we also offer two, one week long camps for kids and one, one day adult camp. These are a great hit, and a great addition to regular lessons!
For those who own their own horse we offer free drill team practices and beginning in Feb. 2009 we will offer free cross training practices! This is a great way to have fun riding, learn a little more, and have a chance to hang out with your friends!
